What a successful first day!

No thanks to Senior Skip Day, we had a smaller group than expected, but we still started off with a bang.  Ashreale started us off with an icebreaker game to get to know each other.  The next improv was led by Matt who focused on direct/ indirect movement with different qualities.  Paige found different ways of popping.  And the challenging improv structure Rain brought was difficult to overcome.

Hey guys we are excited to start this new dance demo workshop with U-city high school!

Here are the dancers from Webster University.

Rain:

Junior dance major from St. Louis.  She has been dancing since she was potty trained and can do ballet, tap, jazz, modern and pointe.

Ashreale:

Is also from St. Louis and has been dancing since high school and danced at her performing arts school and COCA.  Ashreale is graduating this May and completed her BFA last October.















Matt:

This May Matt will also be graduating and has a great passion for contemporary ballet.  He has been dancing since high school and has grown a great deal at Webster.

Paige:  

Paige is a junior modern emphasis with a great passion for improvisation and performance art.   She has  been dancing since the age of 4 coming from her old studio in Cincinnati, Ohio.
